Pack your hat

A hat is an elegant accessory that deserves proper care, especially when it comes to packing. Whether you're preparing for a trip or sending a hat as a gift, proper packing will ensure it arrives in excellent condition.

Prepare your hat for packing

Before you start packing, make sure your hat is clean and completely dry. If you notice any dirt, gently clean it with a soft brush. Allow it to air dry naturally in a warm, well-ventilated area.

Materials you will need

Prepare wrapping paper, a soft cloth or tissue paper, a suitably sized box, and adhesive tape. Choose materials that will not scratch or stain the hat. Avoid plastic, which can cause moisture condensation.

Packing process

Wrap the hat in soft paper, gently filling its interior with paper or fabric to maintain its shape. Remember not to wrap it too tightly – the hat needs a little space. Place the packed hat in a box that is neither too large nor too small. Add an extra layer of paper around it to cushion against potential impacts.

Storage tips

Store the packed hat in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight. Light can fade colors and damage the material. If you are shipping the hat, make sure the box is well secured and clearly marked.
